KCL has acted for Standard Bank South Africa’s Debt Primary Markets – Corporate and Investment Banking Division in Botswana in respect of Debt Capital Markets mandates. KCL has also advised Absa Bank Limited in respect of prospective derivatives transactions in Botswana, the secondary listing of an Exchange Traded Fund on the Botswana Stock Exchange and Debt Capital Markets mandates.
In addition, KCL completed secured finance transactions of BWP 480 million in the year 2012-2013 alone. The firm acts for major corporates in their financing transactions. The firm has acted for major fund managers in Botswana in respect of both fund structuring and ongoing asset management issues and has established collective investment undertakings in Botswana.
